The Illinois South Conference Festival of Faith is a tool for enhancing youth ministry (Middle School - grades 6 - 8) in local congregations and a time for personal spiritual renewal. They offer a unique opportunity for youth from across the Conference to bond within and between their groups. Music, worship, theme presentations, play times, discussion groups, and “hang time” are all part of the retreat.
THEME: God's Calling You. The United Church of Christ is born out of two major strands of Protestantism and from a famous thought from Martin Luther, A priesthood of all believers. The Methodists, Lutherans, Presbyterians, and the UCC affirm that God
uses each person to further God's kingdom and bring it here to earth among us all. God’s Calling You…are you ready to listen?
